Melissa is a wellbeing advocate with more than three decades experience as an Occupational Therapist, Wellness Coach, and Yoga / Pilates Teacher. Her passion, mission, and purpose is helping people thrive by embracing self-care practices for mind, body, and soul in harmony with natural environments. Her integrative approach builds the foundation of active wellbeing through cardio / strengthening and stretch / lengthening exercises, shoulder stability / spine flexibility / hip mobility exercises that improves health at every level through restorative sleep balancing circadian rhythm, nourishing anti-inflammatory whole foods, stress management, social connection. Her calm, empathetic presence and translating complex conditions into simple solutions make her a trusted partner of your team.

 

My Why:

Yoga is her way to manage challenges with equanimity, resilience, positivity; feel grounded and centered in body, balanced in breath, enlightened in mind and soul. Pilates is her personal gateway into low-impact, low-intensity exercises with breath awareness, spine alignment, deep core balance. Her professional journey evolved through holistic wisdom supporting the community with these accessible, empowering, and inclusive therapeutic modalities for greater vitality, clarity, and energy - move better - feel better - live better, longer.

During ongoing sessions, you will collaborate together designing an individualized wellness program with unique smart goals cultivating sustainable transformation of your wellbeing. Recommended progressive homework may include natural movement + breath exercises, targeted cardio / strength training, yoga and pilates based stability / flexibility / mobility, self-care techniques, and lifestyle strategies.
